Until recently, I had never heard of Robbie Nevil or his song "Dominoes". Pretty good song, I like it. It was a #14 Billboard hit in 1987. Here's a video for it, check it out and post your comments.

Yes he had some hits in the 80s when I was in high school, C'est La Vie was another one, and I think there was another one or two maybe. But I never cared for him. I don't really like his singing voice.

I agree, not the greatest singing voice but I have to give credit where credit is due, and Dominoes is a killer tune, easily his best. I listened to some of his other songs, including C'est La Vie, they weren't really to my liking. I have the 45 RPM issue of Dominoes, the "B" side is a song called "Neighbors". It's not bad, quirky but energetic.

"C'est La Vie" would easily make my top 10 worst pop songs of the 80's.

I have heard Robbie Nevil sing when I heard his song C'est La Vie but never his song Dominoes and it's hard to believe that Robbie Nevil is also a music producer as well working with stars such as Taylor Dayne Expose and many other stars of the 80's and 90's and today and I believe Robbie Nevil is still singing today though I haven't heard that he has released any new albums since then
