ABC is keeping the presence of multi-camera comedy on its schedule. The network has renewed freshman "Dr. Ken" for a second season.
The series, starring Ken Jeong, has been an OK addition to the network’s multi-camera Friday block, doing well behind veteran "The Last Man on Earth".

I like Dr. Ken. It's not the funniest or most original show but it's a nice show to watch. Plus I love Jonathan Slavin (from 'Andy Richter Controls the Universe') and Dave Foley (from 'NewsRadio'). Plus Ken Jeong was on "Community" so it's great seeing these three actors together on a series.
I'm not surprised it was renewed as it's gotten pretty good ratings all season. I am, however, surprised it got pretty good ratings all season, lol. Usually shows I like do terrible in the ratings (for example all three shows I just mentioned).
A little Dr. Ken goes a long way. Would like to see more of the supporting cast and a little less Ken.

I'm not a big fan of it either but nothing else is on so I leave it on after Last Man Standing.

The audience is too busy watching Fresh Off The Boat.
