I was torn over whether or not to write this post. However, as my perfect wife always says, any shot against feminism is worth posting. And since every wife/mother gets whatever she wants on Mother’s Day, here we are.

First, some background. On Sunday night’s edition of The Carmichael Show, titled ‘Man’s World,’ (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/31018-all-episodes-talk-we-have-ribleges/?page=2) Jerrod (plays himself) and Maxine (Amber Stevens West) get in a heated exchange over whether there is any such thing as a “man’s job.” Or, anything that is exclusively “women’s work.”

To prove that there are no jobs a woman can’t do, Maxine, with Jerrod’s mother watching close by, try to change a tire on a car. Operative word being “try”:

I don't watch this show and sounds like I won't. I hate shows that promote stereotypes. Most sitcoms do, they show women cooking, cleaning and being stay at home moms while the men are clueless. I'm nothing like that, I can't really cook and babies bore me. True feminists aren't the ones who promote destroying the family. I disapprove of single parenthood in most cases. However I believe in women having the same rights as men and whatever job they can do.
