In 1989 NBC debuted a soap opera named Generations that was one of the most underrated soap operas of NBC and had a wonderful storyline but due to news coverage of The Gulf War in 1991 Generations was cancelled by NBC but Generations was shown in reruns on BET for a short time

I liked Generations.

The sad part is that I read that Generations had more viewers when it was cancelled, than Days of our Live does now.

Quite a few of the soaps cancelled in the past couple of decades had more viewers when they were cancelled, than the surviving soaps do now.
