^Nope. It was an episode where they went to school and they go "You know what's funnier than 24? 25." It wasn't a parody. Just makes me think of that.

i like to add Madam Secretary i also just watched containment it was good it kind of remind me of jericho it comes on tuesdays at 9:00 pm on cw after the flash i think its just limited series!!

To this day, the one episode that I remember keeping me totally glued to my seat was ER's Love's Labor Lost (S1, Episode 19). This is the episode where Dr. Greene tries to help a woman give birth and things go terribly wrong. I still remember being totally shaken by this episode. Great televison!

China Beach like when Cherry the Red Cross worker died when she was in a all night attack during the tet offensive or in the episode Fever when McMurphy was sad over how lost she felt. Dana Delany sometimes brought out the waterworks sometimes in episodes like that.:( also the episode where Hang and Holly perform the song "Blowin in the Wind" and next thing you know they have Hang taken away because they thought she was part of the Viet Cong group:confused: . I watched Little House on the Prairie too and Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert could also bring out the waterworks too a lot:(

i'd add those game shows too like SOTC, WOF and TPIR. sometimes someone would win big time, other times they'd lose!

THE FUGITIVE-even though I've seen just about every episode there is, I still get "on the edge of my seat" watching it.

I can think of one straight off: Rich Man, Poor Man with Peter Strauss. Loved that! Even though I know it was categorized as a “mini-series”.

Have to agree. Dick Clark is one of the best hosts, i believe in television history. Bill Cullen said best in 1980- "I remember when you moved from the shows you had done prior to that to a pure game show- and i rememberer your beginning, i remember your improvement though the years and i remember you now- you have become one of the finest general not only game show but general television hosts of all time." That from a man who also would be considered one of the best hosts of all time too. Johnny Carson and Bob Barker would be on that list too.

And was likely a good reason why he won Daytime Emmys for his work on the show, in 1985 and 1986. The other host that deserved Emmy wins too was Bob Barker for his Price is Right work.

While I liked Dick Clark I've always believed game shows should be fun and relaxed and I think he took things a bit too seriously. So I guess there were times I didn't like him. Just my opinion.

Whenever Bill Cullen was a celebrity guest on a game show the contestant he was playing for usually won big. Bill was one of the best game show players ever.

Also, the various Pyramid shows w/the late Dick Clark, especially for the Winner's Circle, where in 60 seconds, one could win $10K, $20K, $25K, $50K, or $100K (and there was plenty of suspense in each attempt, especially with the "tick of doom," as I refer to it).

I would add American Gladiators w/Mike Adamle, especially during the 3rd season, where the Eliminator decided the match. Making that change made the earlier events more important, because that decided how much of a head start the leader had.
