For my birthday I got two seasons of Newsradio and I would like to know if anyone has gotten it on DVD before? The seasons I got are Newsradio Seasons 4 and 5. I have been collecting Newsradio on DVD and hope to have the complete show. Also what special features are included on these Newsradio seasons?

Since you're talking about getting the individual seasons, I imagine you've got the Sony sets. Those are the superior versions. There is commentary for 10 episodes each season (except for one of course) with the writers and actors. There is also a gag reel per season. There are a couple of featurettes made during the run of the show, including "One Man NewsRadio" where one of the writers (Joe Furey) plays all the characters.

^I've been thinking about getting NewsRadio on DVD. The sony complete series set, and then just get one of those cases that can hold 12 DVDs. $35 isn't too bad for a complete series.

It's a great show. What I'd give to see Phil Hartman again ....

When my mother and I were looking at my new DVD sets of Newsradio we found something interesting about it. The seasons I got of Newsradio actually complete my Newsradio set and what makes my Newsradio Season 4 set special is that it has the last episodes with Phil Hartman and it makes me wonder if this set is collectible for Phil Hartman fans as well. My other Newsradio Season 5 set also has the debut of Jon Lovitz's character Max Lewis and I am so happy my Newsradio set is complete
