I can honestly say I've never seen this show, but I enjoy shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ALF and Freaks and Geeks and I want to check out more 90s sitcoms like Full House, and I was wondering -- is this any good? What is it like? I've had problems in the past with it being popular, but maybe now I'll reconsider that stance.

I enjoy it. It is a bit cheesy at times but it's a nice enjoyable family show and I find it funny. I want to get the complete series sometime.

I've never seen it but I may sample it one day.

Watch it till they start using the words Nicky and Alex. Then bail.

Full House makes The Brady Bunch seem racy.

When I was a kid, I loved it, couldn't wait until Friday, later Tuesday, for it to come on. Now I still like it, its cheesy yes, but a good cheesy.

I've never seen it, but with my friends loving it, I've had problems with watching it in the past.

It has never, ever been a favorite of mine. JMO, but, as I have said before, I strongly believe that it has been one of the worst shows to have ever been on the airwaves.

To me, this show is one of the best ever put out there. :) :) :)

Here's how much Full House holds up for me personally:

Season 1 (1987-88): Just cheesy, average at best. There was nothing remarkable about this season other than it being the first season.

Seasons 2-4 (1988-91): Season 2 was when you had Lori Loughlin join the cast as Becky (she was just plain ole Becky back then). She helped make the show slightly more watchable by having a great personality and being a good female role model to the girls (even after becoming Aunt Becky toward the end of Season 4).

Seasons 5-8 (1991-95): This was the time period that several new characters came and went, including Steve (D.J.'s season 6 and 7 boyfriend), but he didn't bother me too much. Also, it was in Season 5 that Kimmy Gibbler became part of the main cast (whereas she was just a recurring character the first four years), but as obnoxious as Kimmy could be to some people, she actually had quite a few funny lines throughout the run, and at least she never made me want to change the channel like the next two characters I'm going to describe. That's right, Nicky and Alex. These were the two twins Jesse and Becky had in Season 5. Not only did these two ruin Jesse and Becky's chances of being the greatest characters on the show (and Becky had so much potential before then), but every time these two tried to talk, they came off as nothing but pesky camera hogs. It did not take me very long at all to find these two incredibly annoying as they constantly upstaged everyone else with their antics, and it didn't help that in Full House's final season, they were overexposed.

So, if I had to choose between those time periods, I'd pick Seasons 2-4 (1988-91) for having the most rewatchability for me (with a few 1991-95 episodes as well).

I like the show.

It was one of the few wholesome shows during its time....

If you like annoyingly sappy cutesy shows with annoying kids, then go for it.

Full House- Good to watch between the ages of 5-13. After that , it suddenly strikes you that this show wasnt that good in the first place and that it Is very cheesy. Then again , I'd take Full House over Fuller House any day

I'm guilty of watching this crap but back then I didn't know any better, this was THE show to watch for kids and pre-teenagers, you either laughed at little Michelle's cutesy antics, thought Joey's jokes were hysterical or thought that Uncle Jesse was the coolest because he was rebellious (yeah right).

And I pretty much watched the entirety of it until the series finale that it was probably years later when watching reruns and realizing how bad and cheesy the show was that I couldn't believe having been a constant viewer just years earlier.

Sure it wasn't Cheers, but it in many ways it was entertaining and funny and appealed to the child in me. However Becky became more preachy-I would have liked Jesse to call her a "feminazi" behind her back and Nicky and Alex were too much.

I haven’t watched it in ages, but the early seasons were the best ones out of all of them.

i thought it was a good show, but seeing on N@N that airs too much in primetime makes me realize that something needs to change. It has overstayed welcome, and needs to be out of N@N for good. When Hallmark acquires Full House on January, I hope N@N pulls the plug on Full House
