Jennifer Aniston is People's Most Beautiful Woman in the World

People is taking this '90s nostalgia thing very seriously: The magazine has declared Jennifer Aniston the 2016 World's Most Beautiful Woman.

This is the second time Aniston was named People's Most Beautiful Woman after she landed the cover in 2004. Last year, fellow '90s icon Sandra Bullock took home the honor.





The "Friends" actress, who can next be seen starring opposite Julia Roberts' wig in Mother's Day, said she was "very, very flattered" by the honor, but noted that she wasn't always considered beautiful. Early in her career, Aniston says, she was told that she lost a part because she was "too chubby."

"I was like, 'What?!' But my diet was terrible," Aniston said. "Milk shakes and French fries with gravy. It was a good thing to start paying attention."





Now - with the help of diet, exercise and her glam squad - Aniston says she feels her best when she's healthy and strong. But according to the actress, nothing makes her happier than her husband, Justin Theroux (and his great carbonara recipe).

"He makes me laugh. He's so interesting and interested," she said. "He's unbelievably talented in more areas than one and he's just a good man."
