Adam Nimoy lost his father, Leonard, right in the middle of filming what was supposed to be a celebration of "Star Trek's" 50th anniversary and its influence on pop culture to this very day. Nimoy died at the age of 83 in February 2015 and Adam had to not only grieve, but figure out what direction he wanted his film to take. "My stepmother [Susan Bay], said I needed to include my own perspective, my own story, my own journey with my dad," Nimoy continued, "which had a lot of ups and downs, but ended on a good note.
