"Total Divas" Spin-off Starring The Bella Twins Set at E!

Ahead of the fifth-season finale of E!’s docuseries "Total Divas", the network has given the green light to spinoff "Total Bellas", featuring Nikki and Brie Bella.

The six hourlong episodes will take an in-depth look at the lives of the Bella Twins and their significant others, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, as the WWE stars move in together and enter a new chapter of their lives, both professionally and personally.

The Bella Twins will continue to appear on "Total Divas", which concludes its fifth season at 9 PM Tuesday. The series returns for its sixth season in the fall.

"Total Bellas" Gets Premiere Date on E!

E! has slotted Wednesday, October 5, for the premiere of its "Total Divas" spin-off "Total Bellas".

The six hour-long episodes will give viewers an exclusive, intimate look into the VIP lives of WWE superstars Nikki and Brie Bella and their fellas, John Cena and Daniel Bryan, as the four coexist under one roof for the first time. The series kicks off with Nikki and John being sidelined by injuries and Daniel’s recent retirement from the ring.

Ahead of tonight’s Season 6 premiere of mothership series "Total Divas", E! has picked up an eight-episode second season of hit spin-off "Total Bellas", for premiere in 2017.

Season 2 will see WWE superstars Nikki Bella and John Cena temporarily relocate to Phoenix, AZ to help Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan through their first pregnancy.



“We are excited to build on the success of the first season of ‘Total Bellas’ by inviting viewers back for a second round of family fun with the Bellas and their fellas,” said Jeff Olde, EVP, Programming and Development, E!

“Nikki, Brie, John and Daniel all exude copious amounts of wit, talent and strength, but it’s their openness to be completely real that has resonated with viewers and we are delighted to share an intimate look at two of WWE’s most prominent couples.”

"Total Bellas" Renewed for Season 4 at E!

E! has given a fourth season greenlight to its hit series "Total Bellas". The renewal comes as the series, which follows the lives of WWE superstars Nikki Bella and Brie Bella, finished its third season with its best numbers to date.

Season 3 was its highest-rated season ever among all key demos, drawing nearly 1 million total viewers per episode, up 22% from the previous season among the core P18-49 demographic, according to the network and Nielsen.




Sunday night premieres of "Total Bellas" ranked among the Top 10 programs in primetime across ad-supported cable with W18-34 and W18-49. Season three also averaged more than 4MM social engagements a week, +123% higher average weekly engagements vs. Season 2 (1.8MM).

"Total Bellas" currently has 1.1MM social followers, gaining +16% new followers during season three.




Season three saw Nikki deciding to call off her high-profile wedding, Brie balancing being a new mom and a successful business woman with her sister, and Daniel Bryan’s sensational return to the WWE ring. The third season also gave viewers a glimpse into Nikki and Brie’s continued growth as entrepreneurs as they expanded their businesses and launched new brands.

“Nikki and Brie’s willingness to be open about their struggles and celebrate their triumphs with their fans is what makes ‘Total Bellas’ such a hit with our audience,” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Executive Vice President, Development and Production, E! “The Bella Twins embody the strong, empowered women that we celebrate here at E!, and we are so excited to see what the future has in store for them next.”

The Bella Twins also appear on E’s "Total Divas", which premieres on September 19.

The return of Total Bellas for Season 4 is interesting from this aspect:

- The expiring contract of Bryan Danielson. If he signs, no problem. But what if he leaves the WWE to go elsewhere? How do they go about handling that story in season 4? Does Season 4 become just about Nikki Bella or do they ignore Bryan all together?

E! has picked up a sixth season of "Total Bellas", which follows the lives of WWE stars Nikki Bella and Brie Bella.

The NBCUniversal cable network will launch the next run of the show later this fall.
