I was listening to music and I found a cd by a group that was popular in 1999 named She Moves and I would like to know if you've ever heard of this group? The cd I have of She Moves is called Breaking All The Rules and the title track of the cd was a hit for She Moves and they also did a cover of the Faith Hill/Tim McGraw country ballad It's Your Love which was She Moves's last hit from their cd. Another fact about She Moves is that the three members of the group were all dancers for an NBA team
Who remembers this girl group?

I've never heard of them at all. But I'm going to check them out and see if I like them. I'm always looking for new music to buy.

Thank you very much for your reply Edward. I actually discovered the band She Moves when I saw their debut album featured in an advertisement for the no longer in business Circuit City and I always wondered how great She Moves's music would sound and so I went to Walmart and bought the cd single of She Moves's Breaking All The Rules and was surprised at their talent

I've looked in all the usual places I look and I can't find any videos or sound files or samples of them anywhere. Oh well.

I found something, the entire She Moves album "Breaking All The Rules" can be listened to here:

This trio of girls can sing pretty good, similar in style to other girl vocal groups like Bananarama and The Triplets.

I listened to the entire album thru the link I found on you tube. It isn't bad, it's definitely something that's a product of it's time, late 1990's dance pop, but the girls sing good and the songs are decent enough. Nothing outstanding or special, but decent. I noticed though that the second song on the album seems to borrow somewhat from the first song in terms of melody.
She Moves didn't last long as a group, formed in 1997 and disbanded in 1999, so that's why there is only the one album. A reunion is always possible but I imagine it's unlikely, the girls have probably gone on to other aspects of their lives or doing other projects.
