Hiya gang! About a year or more back, I made DVD compilations of 1980s Halloween episodes/specials (one set was prime time/shows marketed towards adults & one set was Saturday morning/shows marketed towards kids). I had grown tired of today's Christmas specials & decided to make my own holiday DVDs of things I grew up watching. A friend of mine was big into Halloween & suggested I start there. Anyway, I'm now working on both a 90s "Saturday Morning" Halloween compilation and an 80s "Saturday Morning" Christmas compilation. I've found tons of episodes & such already but I'm having trouble finding a few that I'd like to add. I'm hoping that by posting what I'm looking for here, I'll be able to obtain the remaining shows for my holiday comps. I'm willing to trade if need be! ANY help is appreciated!

Tom & Jerry Christmas Special (1987) (This was a TBS network Christmas Special of Tom & Jerry's Funhouse on TBS hosted by members of TBS' Kids Beat show & featuring various classic Christmas-themed cartoon shorts. I have portions of this special & can get the cartoon shorts individually, but I'm missing some of the host segments in the middle of the special...I'm hoping to find a complete special. Worst case scenario, I could use what I do have & recreate it without some of the host segments but I REALLY don't want to have to do that, especially when it aired for several years straight. Surely someone out there has a complete copy?)

Don't have any of the stuff you listed, but you should be able to record from Amazon Video using a screen capture device, so Minky Momo and Heathcliff might both be crossed off from the list. I'd recommend Tinytake, if only because it was the first Google result I got when I searched "free screen capture software": https://tinytake.com/

Also, as far as I know, every Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. cartoon from Supercade is on YouTube. Which unfortunately leaves the Frogger and Pitfall toons MIA, for now.

Thanks fragglevision! I'll take a look into Tinytake. This might sound like a dumb question but...if I understand correctly, screen capture software would capture video and not just screen captures? I had an Add-On in my browser that could usually download videos but when I attempted to download an Amazon Video that I had bought (one would think if I bought it, I should be able to own it, not just stream it), all it would pickup was minute fractions of the video and not the full thing. I'll look into Tinytake & see though...

And well, I looked on youtube for the Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong, Jr. shorts but all I found were links that had been taken down...

In regards to the Saturday Supercade episode:

A Christmas Story - found (thanks, person who had the 16mm prints!)
Fake Me Out to the Ball Game - lost
Apey & the Snowbeast - someone on the Lost Media Wiki claims to have a preview of the episode thanks to a trade
The Sabertooth Goof - lost (along with all but one of the Pitfall episodes, sadly)

In the case that none of the other three shorts show up in full by the time you've gotten everything else on the list, then it would be ok to just put "Christmas Story" in the comp, maybe with three other non-lost Supercade episodes filling the void (after all, it's the one explicitly Christmas-themed Supercade short).

Also, the Out Of the Box episode DID have an official VHS release. It's called "Trick or treat" and it was on Amazon at one point in time but it's out of stock. Maybe it'll show up in the thrift store or yard sale circuit one day.
