TV Land Sets Summer Premieres for "The Jim Gaffigan Show and "Impastor"

TV Land has booked premiere dates for a pair of sophomore comedies.

"The Jim Gaffigan Show" will bow at 10pm on Father’s Day, June 19, and "Impastor" arrives the following Sunday, June 26, at 10:30pm. Both shows’ second seasons will launch with back-to-back episodes.





"Impastor" centers on Buddy Dobbs (Michael Rosenbaum), a slacker with gambling debt as he tries to escape his old life by assuming the identity of a gay pastor and relocating to a small town to serve as pastor. With the new identity, he thought he could escape his old life, but he was wrong.

At the end of Season 1, his past had finally started to catch up with him when the man he owed money to came calling.

Sara Rue, Mircea Monroe, David Rasche and Mike Kosinski co-star on the show, which will have a 10-episode second season. It is exec produced by Christopher Vane, Rosenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Rob Greenberg.
