i was j/w...does neone here looove to dance? if so....wut kind do ya do??? and how long have u been dancin?

--i love dancin....i do jazz,tap, and ballet....cept i dnt like pointe that much..hurts my feet and my ankles aint that strong so...i like lyrical better...

my favs jazz tho cuz for me its the most fun...yuuup...

11 years whoaaahh kerrix3. i'm sure u must be a really really really really good dancer!!! me hahaha i really stink at dancing.. i like to sing better :) Even though i did used to take tap and ballet when i was younger... but doesn't every little girl? Anyway, yeah, I'm not a dancer. :( But that's a fortunate thing for everyone else in the world...

I danced for 9 years. I quit. I've done Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Ballet... took Pointe classes for about 3 months but I couldn't stand it...it hurt me too much. My ankles aren't strong enough :( But I've basically had it with dancing lol...

I've been dancing since I was 3. Started dancing competitively when I was 7. I started pointe when I was 11, but only did it for about 3 years. I enjoy lyrical far more, because I'm an actress and lyrical is telling a story through dance. I can't say I have a favorite style of dance. I favor each lyrical, tap, and jazz in their own way. It always varies between the three. I explained why I love lyrical, and I enjoy tap because I grew up wanting to be Ginger Rogers. The rhythm, the sound... it just fascinates me. You have to be a certain type of person to really enjoy tapping. :lol: I think jazz just speaks for itself. I have a ton of energy, and it's just plain fun. I would love to learn how to dance Fosse style. It's a goal of mine. You really have to study it to get it right. I mean, it's not one of those styles you can just look at and pick it up. Your whole body has to adapt to a different posture and such... I'd just really love to learn how to do it properly. :lol: (That sounds so cheesy.)

Anyhoo... I don't focus as much on dancing these days. I stopped dancing competitively several years back because it was making me sick. I focus more on my voice and theatre training now. (I've been studying voice since I was 10, and I've been acting since the day I was born... haha.)

I don't dance anymore...I kinda wish I did. I took ballet and tap for 4 years when I was younger. I was always the one in the center...ha. I watched some of my old tapes from recitals the other day...haaa ohh my. But I like karate better. MWAHHA.

I don't take dancing classes but I like dancing... I like doing the tango, I'm mostly just into gymnastics.

I'm more into acting than singing, but we're going to learn how to tango in my Spanish III class in like a couple weeks.

I wuz in dance when i wuz 5 and when i wuz 7

Isadora Duncan (I guess kind of freestly, it was like do whatever you want to do.) from 1st grade and 2nd
And from 3rd to 7th I did jazz.......

But I don't think I'm going to start up again... But I do/did love it.

I used top take tap and tap from kindergarden to 1st.

I can dance the Cumbia too...thanks to Sel. I can kinda dance the Merengue and Salsa I'm not really good at...Cumbia is really the only one I'm good at...especially the Techno Cumbia (LOL karli)

Eh, Tara and I have this thing with a Selena song called "Techno Cumbia". There is a rap part in the end...when we get mad at people we yell the rap at them really fast because it makes us look like we know what we are talking about... the Spanish translates to the English.

I used to dance tap, jazz, ballet, and hula. I liked tap and hula the best. I did it for, ooh, let's see here... ballet for like 9 years, tap for 8, jazz for 7, and hula for 6. I think, I don't remember for sure, but that sounds roughly right, give or take a year. I should have stuck with it but oh well.

If I had stuck with it, all the older girls got to do this really cool hula and flamenco dancing. They would dance between these long wooden slats while there were people at the ends that would bring the boards together, so if you didn't have the timing perfect, your ankles would get slammed in the slats. And then they had these balls on the end of a really long sting that they'd fling around and dance with. At my dance studio, they always used alot of blacklights and things for the recitals, so we'd wear costumes that glowed under blacklights. Anyway, so these balls glowed under the blacklight and somethings they'd turn all the lights out and all you could see was the balls flinging and flying. And they also did things with like flaming batons. The recitals were always awesome.

well...i don't dance. but i get all freaky at like bat mitzvahs and all. i scream and jump around...knocking things over. but anyway...i signed up for dance in pe...so i don't have to run. :D it's really easy and it's like beg. dance and we like only perform once in front of ppl so...yeah. and plus all the stuff i can do. :D ...i hope.

lol...oh wow...getting in a big circle..going around stopping, kicking your legs, then going the other way...dancing at it's best. i've only been to like a few but whatever. i dunno....
