Looking for any more original NBC broadcasts of SNL w/o/c. My collection is growing, but any more episodes would be greatly appreciated.

Those would work. Does anybody out there have any classic SNL airings?

In terms of vintage SNL w/o/c, I have 2/2/85 with Alex Karras/Tina Turner.

I should have made it clear that I gave many of the SNLs I had to my sister and I have to rebuild my collection. I'm also looking for Classic SNL reruns too that contain the original live shows, not reruns.

you're looking for reruns that are not reruns? What the hell does that mean?

why don't you just ask your sister to let you borrow the discs you gave her, copy them and return them to her?

I can do that. BTW, the classic SNL reruns I'm looking for have to be the original live shows they used, meaning the actual live show masters and not a encore presentation rerun.

yeah, well, the episode I mentioned I have is an original airing, so I'm not sure where you're going with this.

The Classic SNL airings were part of NBC's late night line-up from 1998-2008. The episodes they aired were a mix of original live broadcasts and rerun versions. They aired early Sunday morning.

I know what you are talking about. The first Classic Saturday Night Live was Tom Hanks/Keith Richards. It aired after Cameron Diaz/Smashing Pumpkins in 1998.

I think what he means is that he wants to see the live performance and not a dress performance.

Totally confused. Jesus. You try to help someone and this is the thanks you get.

Once again, my episode is an *original* airing with *original* commercials. Doesn't get much better than that.

Anyways, good luck to the OP in trying to track down decades worth of every SNL episode w/o/c. You're going to need it.

BeatleMoe, can you explain about it to him?

From 1998-2008, NBC would air a selected episode of SNL as part of it late-night weekend line-up under the banner CLASSIC SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. The specific episode they would air would sometimes be its original live version or a repeat version with different dress rehearsal takes. I'm looking for the CLASSIC SNL episodes that featured the live versions of these shows. My wants are not limited to ones w/o/c.

Sometimes, they would even add in material from different episodes altogether. That was annoying.

That's why I'm looking for "live" episodes from CLASSIC SNL.

stop hijacking the original poster's thread please.

The OP was quite clear about what he wanted - if you have what he is looking for and don't get a direct response send the OP a private message - ONCE - and if you don't get a response, maybe he found it somewhere else or for whatever reason doesn't want to make a deal for it, and leave it at that.

No more personal attacks - we're all adults here, so act like it. If you have a problem with someone you may just have to accept that you aren't going to get along with them and put that person on 'ignore'; it is pointless to engage in childish arguments, all that is going to accomplish is make you look stupid.

Again, if you can't be civil - don't be here.

You don't have to like someone to be polite to them, and if you really have that much of a problem with them, please take advantage of the "ignore" function of the board.

No more petty bickering, no more goading and baiting - act like adults please. If you really want to start a fight with someone there are plenty of other places on the internet that can accommodate you.
