My father's favorite British sitcom is Black Adder and I would like to know if BBC America will ever show Black Adder on TV again. Because when BBC America showed reruns of British sitcoms Black Adder was a show he looked forward to watching

it doesn't seem likely - BBC America has dropped all the Britcoms completely and really seem to be focusing on their new current shows and filling the rest of their air time with reruns 3 shows - Top Gear, Kitchen Nightmares and Star Trek TNG.
I've been a member of BBC Insiders for about 3 or 4 years now, and they are apparently trying to push a BBC America App, which would be a for-pay service that would give you access to older Britcoms and other British shows - most of which are available elsewhere.

Thank You Robyrob for the info on Black Adder. My dad will be so happy to see a BBC America App because he would not only watch Black Adder but also The Benny Hill Show and Monty Python's Flying Circus as well

There was a time when BBCAmerica aired all of the classic British shows, I think I recall them even showing Black Adder. But like robyrob said it's new British shows, or reruns of shows that are barely British. I guess because Patrick Stewart is in Star Trek:TNG they think it qualifies, of course that doesn't explain when they re ran The X-Files.
