ABC's "The Catch" Casts "Doctor Who" Vet John Simm as Grifters' Benefactor

ABC’s "The Catch" has cast "Doctor Who" and "Life on Mars" alum John Simm as the mysterious benefactor who has been backing Ben and Margot’s schemes.

Per our sister site Variety, Simm will make his debut in Episode 6 of the midseason #TGIT drama (airing in late April), and appear throughout the back half of its 10-episode freshman run.

John Simm Promoted to Series Regular on "The Catch" Season 2

John Simm, who recurred in season 1 of "The Catch", has been promoted to regular for season 2, SpoilerTV has learned.

He plays Rhys Bishop, Margo's (Sonya Walger) younger brother and Ben's (Peter Krause) best friend and accomplice, who was previously their benefactor as a part of the Kensington Firm.
