something interesting on TV to watch?

I plan my meals around TV because it makes the food more enjoyable:lol: Like right now I am hungry and my brunch is barbecue wings but I don't want to eat them while watching the Brady Bunch

Anyone else need to have something on TV to watch when they eat a meal?

TV doesn't matter to me when I eat a meal, but I know if I'm watching a sitcom at late night it makes me want a snack. There's Something about watching funny TV makes a person in the mood to eat.

So when you eat what do you normally do?

I eat meals usually based on the clock, not the show. I have the TV on, but it's just background noise.

I do this weird thing where I talk to people during meals. Just me....?

To answer the original question, if I lived alone, nah, who cares what's on.

:yeahthat

I did like it when TBS aired "Mama's Family" at 5:00 and 5:30. That worked out perfect for suppertime.

When I eat, I like to give most of my attention to the food. Savor the flavor! Lol

Honestly, I never really thought about it. I'll be eating alone tonight though (well, the dog will be here). Looks like my watching will be the women's Final Four and MLB opening day. And yes, I know, you hate both of those.

Yes, I watch TV while I eat. I get grossed out easily, so I have to have pre-approved shows to eat to. I mostly play DVDs when it's time to eat because otherwise I get stuck eating during a long commercial break.

Although lately, I find myself eating while playing computer solitaire and having YouTube videos of "To Catch a Predator" on in the background.

Lol, I can't seem to get enough of that show. Luckily YouTube has extended interview videos, which include them talking to Chris Hansen and then getting interrogated by the police (and in some cases them being processed). Plus they have their phone conversations to the decoy, too.

Go UConn. I forgot today is Sunday, so that also includes squeezing in The Simpsons, which I'm guessing you hate too. I haven't been this bummed since I found out Bonnie doesn't like hockey.

Peek at Johnny Carson at 10pm and switch back and forth to see Gabe Kaplan and Cindy Williams

Bob Newhart at 11:30pm

I hung a flat screen on the wall in my new kitchen so when I'm eating the TV can be on if I'm in the mood. As far as something interesting, I can usually find something worth watching.

If they get in, I give anyone at least an outside shot. The NHL playoffs seem more wide open then the NBA's. Washington has been the best hockey team this season. If the Warriors or Thunder don't win the NBA title, the basketball world would be shocked. If Washington doesn't win the Cup, I think the hockey world would be less surprised.

I think you can say that about baseball or hockey.

No one expected the Phillies to win the WS in 2008

No one expected the Flyers to reach the stanley cup finals in 2010

You're right! They really had it good back then too - big slabs of bacon, hunks of ham, piles of pancakes, and globs of eggs coated in butter. It's like cholesterol hadn't been invented yet.

They started 1972, I got hooked mid-seventies, probably somewhere around '75-'77. How long have you been afflicted? Since that tragic summer of 1994?

I don't need the TV to eat my meals, but since I'm at home I'll watch whatever my mood is.

I've been watching Doug while I have my meals lately.

I wish they'd make The Honker Burger a franchise!
