I have such trouble placing shows in order of favorites. It’s like if I’m binge-watching a show, that’s my favorite at that moment. Ultimately, NewsRadio is my favorite sitcom and Quantum Leap is my favorite drama/sci-fi show. But whenever I try to make top ten (or top twenty-five or whatever lists) I can’t pick which show I like more than the other. It’s all about my mood at the time I’m making the list really.
Is anyone else this way or are you pretty good at putting shows in order of favorites?

Well, it is a bit hard for me to make a list of my favorites because I love so many shows ... it's a bit hard for me to rank some. If that makes sense lol

I'm the same way. I cannot rank my favorite TV show because I have multiple favorites. Then when I attempt to make a top 20 list, I always end up leaving out a TV show I like. For me, it's really difficult to rank my favorite TV shows without leaving something out

Have you tried defining what makes a show good for you? I don't really think of ranking anything but sitcoms, but I rank them by (1) overall humor; and (2) consistency (basically, good seasons at the start can be dragged down by crappy ones at the end). I don't give "ground breaking" or any kind of moralizing or special episode instruction any value at all.
Okay, I'm thinking about what you just said and I'm going to see if I can come up with an honest top ten list (sitcoms only).
