Is Mark wearing a blanket at one point or a sleeping bag? Could go either way, but I'd like to know what you all thought.

It's on YouTube, so I went thru it quickly. There may be a blanket on his legs, but mostly I saw a furry parka.

I doubt it was a sleeping bag because it was a day trip, they weren't sleeping over , there would be no need for a sleeping bag!

In todays ep. " Bring in the clowns" they didn't show it, but the practical joker friends of Mark's that were staying with them slept in sleeping bags! According to Mark them being annoying pain in the a**es shouldn't be a big deal because they were sleeping in sleeping bags for crying out loud. Not taking up much space!!! LOL!!!

Why does Valerie look so annoyed in the above photo? Is she mad at the director? The wardrobe mistress who put her in that unflattering outfit?:eek:

Why is the baby always being held by Grandma in these pics? Contractual obligation?

That was from Pride and Privacy. All those people staying in the apartment. Max was probably still waiting to get in the bathroom to shower and get dressed for the day! ;) It can't be that my Max is a lazy bones right? :D

Do they make double sleeping bags? Sleeping bags that sleep two in the same one? Because if so I have a funny scenario, that would make a great ep. if there were a season 10 or a spinoff!!! ;)

Mark and Barbara are going on a camping trip. Mark and Max go to a store that sells camping supplies. Mark wants to purchase a double sleeping bag for himself and Barbara ,but he wants to test it out for size to see if it would be comfortable/ roomy enough for two people.;)


Anyway Max reluctantly offers to get in the sleeping bag with Mark to test it out! Meanwhile it is getting late and the store is about to close. The shop keeper doesn't realize two people are still left in the store, and he closes and locks up for the night and leaves!!!! :eek:

So not only are poor Max and Mark stuck in the store for the night, but wouldn't you know it? The zipper to the sleeping bag is stuck!!!!:eek: :D After a while of them trapped together , getting more and more frustrated and annoyed with each other. How funny would their bickering be? :D And they would be jumping around in the bag and trying to get the zipper unstuck!! It would be slapstick and hilarious !!!!!!!:lol:

A bit too slapsticky for my tastes, but lots of people like slapstick, so I approve production. Allow me to add to it--

A) they're obviously shopping at Barbara's old store

B)Eventually, M & M hear snoring from a corner sleeping bag. Unzipping it, they find Alex, who has once again changed his mind and has decided he doesn't want to live with his mother anymore (don't worry, she got a post card). Coming to Indy and finding Ann in London, Schneider in Florida, and not knowing anyone elses whereabouts, he goes to the only place he knows, Barbara's old store, where he has secretly been living, subsisting on old birthday cake leftover from that aborted surprise party. They take him home and he proceeds to burn down Marks truck. End of part 1.

^ How did they get unstuck from the sleeping bag? And why would Alex burn down Mark's truck? I also wish somehow Cliff (Barbara's old crush), were involved in this scenario! And, the door's locked, so they wouldn't be able to get out, right?

Part 2:

Ending where Mark and Max finally wake up in the morning, all sweaty and still in the sleeping bag. Mark and Max both see the shoes they took off when they went to try on the sleeping bag. Alex is hidden in another sleeping bag, and they soon see him and take him home. Barbara sees the sleeping bag and Alex as they go home, and offers to take Alex in. However, this kinda puts a damper on the camping trip, but Alex is old enough to stay home by himself, and that's what he wants to do, especially because it's a school night.

Max hitches a ride with Barbara and Mark, especially because he loves the outdoors. He's packed a sleeping bag himself, and when they get to the cabin, Barbara finally asks them what happened in the store the previous night. She asks for a reenactment, and she says since Mark finally got the zipper unstuck(both argue about who got it unstuck), and Mark and Max reenact what happened and the zipper gets stuck ... again ... and both battle to be the "man" and fix the zipper for Barbara.

Suddenly, there is a knock at the door, and Barbara has gone into the bathroom to get something to fix the zipper and who's there except for ... Cliff, Barbara's old lover! Cliff has a sleeping bag at hand and he says that he recognized Mark's truck after seeing it from a distance various times, but he was never close enough to say hi. Cliff finally gets the zipper unstuck, and Barbara and Cliff reunite and all enjoy a camping trip together.

Lol that was long and it might sound really stupid, but I think that's what Part 2 should be.

And why would Alex burn down Mark's truck?

Yes sure!! That would be perfectly fine for Alex to move in!! He can sleep in that alcove/office downstairs! Boy, it's a good thing Max gave up his writing career and doesn't need the office anymore! What with all the people staying in that room. Grandma for awhile till they fixed up her attic room , Father Romano, the priest imposter, and Mark's two joker friends!

And no problem about the burned down truck. Mark can just borrow Max's car to go to work. Max will take the bus, no problem! He didn't have any problem taking public transportation in the Nearness of you when Barbara up and decides to take Max's car and leave for work early, suddenly remembering "errands" she has to do before work! LOL!!!

I know I've been saying this a lot because I'm weird, lol, but I'd love to see pictures of Mark/Max in the same sleeping bag jumping around the store! I know Bonniegirl would especially love to see Max in a sleeping bag (as well as probably Ponch from CHiPs and Steve from Petticoat Junction). This would be great for Fanfiction pictures! I don't know how to make any though :( But I would make some if I only knew how to.
