You're not crazy, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. When the lead characters get together romantically, it ususally ruins the show, but not this one, even though Barbara Eden and others claimed it did. The show was starting to run out of gas and Jeannie and Tony's engagement and marriage was a good way to wrap it up. The stayed on long enough so we could see the first few months of their marriage, but not long enough to get tired. |
