Ok, now i totally understand all this. It does get really annoying when there is lot of spam in this general sitcoms section. I only wanted to post announcements if any schedule changes or new shows joining network, nobody responds to my post and always ignores my posts, or nobody cares. And they post something else like playing game.

There was tons of SPAM the other day about Mormons and voting and then more SPAM about watching movies online.

There's this one person named Kunka something something that seems to be getting through very easily. He appears to be the worst offender. I would watch him very closely. That might discourage others.

I really don't like spamming for bunch of posts in less than a day which my post which nobody bothers to see are going to other posts

Woah, it's like... the spam wasn't so bad a couple days ago, but here in the past day or so I've seen way too much on this board. What I want to know is, why do people spam? lol It's so... pointless.

We are going to start moderating new members and posts. It will be more work this way, but there's no other way to stop it. We turned on e-mail verification before, but it didn't decrease that much. I think it's 1 or 2 guys who do all of the spam. They are just very persistent and can't be ip blocked. You won't see any more spam unless some of these guys have accounts in their back pockets that they registered months ago.

Closing in on 5,000 spammers zapped. :) Adios spammers. :wave:

99% of the time the spam is from spambots. So that rule does diddly
