First off, does anyone honestly talk like Boomhower? Whenever I hear him speak it reminds me of Mushmouth from Fat Albert because I can't imagine anyone speaking that way. And second, as smart as Dale thinks he is, why can't he see his son isn't really his? Of course until Hank pointed it out to Peggy she never made the connection either. Still one of the best shows on tv I'll tell you what.

No, I don't find it offensive, Hank represents morality and common sense most of the time. I love it when he screws up that idiot "twig-boy's" plans or whatever. That guy on the pilot that tries to take Bobby away and tries to get a druggy working at Strickland Propane later in the series. Jeez, I can't STAND people like that.

I just hope northern people don't think all Texans are like Hank and Co.

No, I dont find it offensive at all....Its all in fun, and if we cant poke fun at each other its a sad state of affairs...I think alot of people are over sensitive...Now days you cant make fun of anyone, or anything with out offending someone.......By the way I sell propane for a living (No joke), and boy just think all the times I get called "Hank".........

My god - a REAL propane salesman?!?!?!?!? Too much!

I'm from Texas and find it uncanny that they nailed so many stereotypes right on the head. Not offensive, just funny as hell.

Absolutely not offensive Hank is a very proud Texan and so is his family even Bill and Boomhauer are proud of Texas.Hate to burst your bubble but here in Virginia my 17 yr old nephew knows a guy that pumps gas at a gas station that when he talks sounds like Boomhauer if you practice some its not as hard a voice to do as it seems

CAUSE BDAWG RULES

Actually Dale is highly intelligent, just paranoid. I suggest you buy the DVDs of seasons one through six (as I have) and review...

Well that may be so but he has no Common Sense His wife cheated on him 14 yrs even has a son by John Redcorn who she passes off a Dales son even though he looks exactly like John Redcorn and he never figured out about Nancys affair hell even Bill and Bobby new bout that. Plenty of book learning but no Common Sense is why he acts like an idiot I mean the man was scared of a ventriloquist dummy enough he put it in a wood chipper he's an idiot

Did you ever stop to think for one moment that Dale might know about Nancy and John, and he keeps his mouth shut because he loves Joseph and Nancy so much? You are confusing paranoia with idiocy (my how surprising). "Book Learning" as you put it, would seem to be at a premium. Texas has a fine public school system - perhaps a move would be in order.

We both enjoy KOTH we have our favorite characters and least favorite ones but we both need to treat each other with respect here because you can be banned for arguing flaming fighting etc and I know neither of us want that to happen so lets just agree to disagree and lets move on ;) Thank You and Have a nice day

I hardly see how having a debate, ie: pointing out the flaws in another's "theories" denotes fighting, flaming, etc. Someone needs to grow some skin. I'm here to discuss, not fuss.
