I just had a weird yet interesting dream. Not sure if that's going to happen, but I dreamt that the next 3 seasons of Happy Days were released at the same time. Seasons 7, 8, and 9. And when I got me those DVD sets, they were all bundled in 1 pack.

I hope. But if they will be released, they'll be in individual releases

That'd be interesting. I had a dream once that a complete series of "Mr. Belvedere" was being released.

I think that we might just see 7,8 and 9 released separately - not at the same time though.

somehow I doubt we'll ever see season 10 for a variety of reasons.

I want all 7-11. I just hope we get some more this year. And I hope that the series will be complete by the end of the decade.

All I want is for season 7 to be released.

After years of no sets due to lawsuits, seasons 5 and 6 finally came out a couple of years ago.

What happened?

Did they sell poorly, hence why we haven't seen season 7 as of yet?

I'd be happy with 7. Lot so great episodes I forgot were in that season and really the end of the "classic" Happy Days.

Well, it's summer 2016, and no H Days S7. They would have announced it ahead of time.

The return of Mork is already included in season 6. Which was the last clip show. Other than the montage in the final episode.

No, that's season 8. Season 3 is the first one with the familiar Happy Days theme music, and season 5 is the first with Chachi and Lori Beth. There are 11 seasons in the series. I used to think that the eps. with the original Rock Around the Clock theme song were all in the first season which some people probably still think as well. But then I realized that Season 1 was the short season which began in the Spring of '74, and season 2 began later in the Fall of that same year. Hope that explains and clarifies everything.

Right, you are. And coincidentally, Ron Howard and Donny Most left in 1980 when it was no longer the 70s. The turn of the decade.

I don't see them releasing the rest of the seasons anytime soon for a variety of reasons. One possible reason has to do with music rights. They cost too much to secure the music for the DVD release and that's why not on DVD. Another possibility is because of the feud between some Happy Days stars and CBS. It's highly unlikely will see the rest of the Happy Days releases anytime soon

The feud was settled a few years ago and they've proven they have no problem issuing DVDs sans original music like it or not. Hopefully they are just waiting it out hoping to build demand.

Oh, I sure hope so! I'm not sure about in-between scenes cut, but I know for a fact that the versions available online, taped from Superstation WGN, cut out the tag scene from Part 2, where Fonzie is brooding about Richie's decision and Potsie sings him a song to cheer him up. I can't recall the lyrics and hence can't search up the title, but I remember it being a song in which Potsie sang the lead and Fonzie filled in some rhythmic syllables...I think. I saw this scene when Me-TV aired the episode this past April.

Speaking of Me-TV, I noticed that they've been cutting scenes! Last Wedensday I saw 03x21, "Beauty Contest," which contains one of the infamous 'frisky' exchanges between Howard and Marion (I think this might be the first one). However, the shots of them on the couch having...fun before Richie came home were completely absent! Scandalous...

I don't watch a lot of Me-tv but I am surprised to hear they air tag scenes

There is no music until the Falcons walk in, and whatever starts playing definitely isn't 'Book of Love,' though I can't tell what it is.
According to my notes, the only other song in this episode, aside from "Rock Around the Clock," is "The Great Pretender" by the Platters. Without actually checking the episode, I assume that's the song to which you're referring.
