No. It isn't. I can't stomach the shows now that I used to adore as a child.

I'm always picking on my mom and relatives. I mean nothing by it, it's just the way I show affection.

If you think that's bad, you should see the original "Family" sketches from The Carol Burnett Show. There's some tough reality in those.


She slaps him. It's really not funny.

I don't think she ever slapped him. She "Three Stooge"-ed him once, but I don't recall any slap.


I can't stomach the shows now that I used to adore as a child.

This show is timeless. And brilliant. :)

My ex husband's Mother was just like that!! ;) Picture an east coast Italian version of Thelma!!! :D
