I couldn't imagine if my mother talked me like that. To Vint - you're dumb, you're stupid. She slaps him. It's really not funny.

I can't stomach the shows now that I used to adore as a child. tlc38tlc38 03-11-2016, 12:39 PM I think it's just a Southern kinda love. Tough love. I'm always picking on my mom and relatives. I mean nothing by it, it's just the way I show affection. '80sSitcoms 03-11-2016, 01:36 PM I couldn't imagine if my mother talked me like that. To Vint - you're dumb, you're stupid. If you think that's bad, you should see the original "Family" sketches from The Carol Burnett Show. There's some tough reality in those. She slaps him. It's really not funny. I don't think she ever slapped him. She "Three Stooge"-ed him once, but I don't recall any slap. I can't stomach the shows now that I used to adore as a child. This show is timeless. And brilliant. :) Bonniegirl 03-11-2016, 03:33 PM I think it's just a Southern kinda love. Tough love. I'm always picking on my mom and relatives.
