Yvette Nicole Brown Set for "Rizzoli & Isles'" Final-Season Guest Stint

"Rizzoli & Isles" is giving Yvette Nicole Brown its stamp of approval, casting "The Odd Couple" actress as a “brash and blustery” U.S. Postal Inspector, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Brown’s character CJ Prescott, who possesses an over-the-top passion for her job, will turn up during the TNT drama’s upcoming seventh and final season. As of now she’s scheduled to appear in one episode.
"Rizzoli & Isles’" farewell season will consist of 13 episodes and premiere this summer. In announcing the show’s end date back in January, TNT president Kevin Reilly said that stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander “have had a really satisfying experience” working on the series, adding.
“I don’t know that they wouldn’t do anymore, but they felt very comfortable that it’s had a good run. Everyone said, ‘Let’s go out and finish 13 great ones and call it a day.’”
"Rizzoli & Isles" will close out its current sixth season on March 15.
