First, to negate any potential wise guys, not THAT zipper. It's the jacket right pocket. All the tricks I've been taught that have worked in the past, like rubbing a pencil on it ,or Vaseline , aren't working this time. Anyone who solves it earns my undying gratitude.

Just kind of play with it, fiddle with it!!! That answer would have worked better if it was the pants zipper!! :D (naughty-naughty) !!! No but really you just kind of have to fiddle around with a zipper and try to get it unstuck! Try to see if it's stuck on the clothing or what not, and just try to manually get it unstuck! ;) If not take it to a tailor and have them rip the zipper out and put a whole other one in! ;)
We've been tugging at my zipper for over a week now. No results.

I just googled "How to unstick a stuck zipper", and besides a pencil or Vaseline it lists windex, bar soap and lip balm!!

It is frustrating. I have a light weight jacket that has zipped pockets and I am so careful when zipping for I have gotten the material jammed twice. If your garment is that touchy, I would heave the darn thing out. It could get jammed again.
If you've been following my zipper saga, it finally came down. It involved yelling, pulling, a wrench, a pencil, Vaseline, Windex, and Batman. One of those is a lie. We didn't use Windex.

If the material is stuck under the zipper and you are pulling on the zipper it probably won't help. While holding the opposite side of the garment pull the material out from under the zipper.
