I am wondering if Lisa respect all denominations of Christianity. I'm in a particular denomination of Christianity that is misunderstood by some people.

What denomination are you.....I'm Baptist...feel free to make fun........Most Baptists in my town are so snotty.......and their general attitude is that of never wanting to change, and they can't really take jokes..and I'm gonna stop now, cause I'm starting to sound like Molly.Anyway, I'm sure Lisa RESPECTS all denominations of Christianity, she just may not agree with certain thigns about that denomination...the big point is though, that Christians believe the Jesus was God's son and that he died for us...........I'll quote Jo, or Jinny...or one of Nancy's charaters...." the rest is just window dressing." That's the only important thing.

Yea, I'm a Catholic and they teach us as long as you believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God, then that's all that matters. :)

I have a feeling though... Why do I sense that Pentecostal/Charismatics like herself feel that, though they allegedly respect different denominations, they personally feel SUPERIOR to others? I read that when one former Evangelical author changed his beliefs to Eastern Orthodoxy because he considered it more in line with historical Christianity, Charisma magazine criticized this view, saying that THEY, Pentecostal/Charismatics, were "more in line" with historic Christianity.

Well all I know is I'm Catholic and I hate it. *shrugs* But I think as long as you believe in Jesus, Lisa respects you. Even if you don't, I'm sure she still does

Im an Independent Baptist, which is sometimes misunderstood, and very rare to find down in Texas, Most Baptists down here are Southern Baptists.

I think Lisa respects all denominations of Christianity. Im guessing she would have to if she speaks at their church.

I'm Lutheran and we believe that as long as you believe that God is your ONLY god, and you are really sorry for your sins, you go to heaven. That's a little ot, but i think that Lisa doesn't really care much about denominations.

She dated one once! My guess is she respects them JUST AS MUCH.....liek I said before(or, at least, I THOUGHT I said it.....although, I mighta just agreed when someone ELSE said it..) she probably respects everyone. she may not agree with EVERYTHING that you believe...but I'd imagine she'd still respect you!
