The episode when he painted the woman in her bathing suit and once it was finished it looked nothing like her body. The woman was thick but jj painted her like she was tall and skinny. Plus he didn't even paint the outfit she was wearing so where was all this talent JJ was supposed to have?

JJ painted the woman the way he saw her. JJ was not a camera where everything looks exactly as it is. JJ was a creative artist. Who cares if her body was painted without flaws. Painting that portrait took a lot of talent. I know I couldn't do it. Could you?

But he didn't look like his wife:lol: How come they couldn't have a painting that looked just like her when he painted penny and thelma?

I wouldn't have paid JJ ****

Well, you're right that the portrait did look a bit different than the actual lady. But that's the way JJ painted. He also painted a picture of Thelma that was exaggerated. Remember? She was playing basketball with really, really long arms. That was still a great painting. I think JJ was very talented.

Ernie Barnes is the actual artist who painted the pictures for the tv show. The pool painting and them dancing in the juke joint those ppl had long arms and the exaggerated faces too. He was actually a legend for urban paintings. But it was funny when Sweet Daddy made him drop the clothes off like he was at the dry cleaners LOL.
