Both of Chrissy's parents thought Jack was gay, so why would Rev. Snow be okay with Jack hitting on Debbie in "Triangle Troubles"? If he knew that Jack dated girls, I don't think he would have supported their living situation, no matter what Chrissy or Janet told him.

It is mentioned in Chrissy Come Home that Chrissy's mother never told Chrissy's father that Jack was gay, or implied. That's why Jack and Janet pretend to be married in that episode.
