"Superhuman" Competition Show Formally Ordered to Series at Fox

Fox has developed an extraordinary interest in "Superhuman".
The unscripted competition series — which aired as a two-hour special in January — has been formally picked up for an eight-episode season, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Hosted by Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar), the one-hour installments will test the abilities of ordinary people who possess — you guessed it! — nearly superhuman skills in areas such as memory, hearing, taste, touch, smell and sight.
The U.S. is the seventh territory where "Superhuman" will launch; it has previously been adapted in Germany, China, Italy, Brazil, Spain and France.
