Currently, I do not have cable and strictly have a digital antenna. I love all of the digital sub-channels that have come up over the past few years. I get quite a few now in the Green Bay area.

One thing that I have noticed is that some shows seems to have pretty bad quality. Mama's Family on Me-TV for example, is so glitchy. Whenever there is movement in the scene, the picture gets really glitchy and laggy. I have yet to watch one episode of Mama's Family on Me-TV that doesn't look this way. Most of their other programs, I notice no issue.

Over on Antenna TV, I notice this all of the time, The Ropers and Johnny Carson in particular. Escape airs Unsolved Mysteries and some other programs where this has the same issue.

Have others noticed this or am I crazy? I have considered that it could be my equipment. I have a digital antenna hooked to a full screen tube TV from the early 2000s. If it is my equipment, why am I not noticing this on every channel and every program?

We have FIOS, but some of those channels have issues there too. Retro TV often has picture.....or no picture...issues. It happened today during the film "The Southerner". There were issues with Decades TV today too. I am not normally home during the day and I really haven't seen issues at night.

Yesterday, I was able to play to hook up a flat screen TV that I have and observed some of the programs on these stations. It really made no difference. Mama's Family on ME-TV looked pretty much the same: any action in the scenes result in a glitchy/laggy image. The more I think about it, the more I think it may have something to do with compression of the episode. But I could be wrong.
