Has anyone ever bought any complete series sets from Shout on eBay? I've seen some selling for a lot cheaper there than on other sites, but I've heard that some of them are bootlegs. Has anyone ever gotten a bootleg there or are they legit?

I haven't bought any from there but beware of the ones from a seller in Canada...I believe those are bootlegs.

I bought an "AITF" set on eBay but it got damaged and now some of the discs don't play so I am planning on re-buying it on Amazon when they do one of their sales.

After reading that article Shout! Factory released about bootleg sets, I'm scared to buy any DVD sets on eBay.

I'll just stick with buying direct from retail stores or direct from amazon.

^Probably same here. Except the "AITF" set I got was good it just got damaged in two years or whatever. I also got Season 1 of "Doogie Howser" on eBay and it seemed fine.
