OOOMMMGGG!!! We were taking our ISAT tests today (we are all week) and we had to write an essay. We could either write about a time we solved a conflict with someone by talking (blah) OR about if there was a character from a TV show, movie, or book that we could meet, tell who it was and some qualites that make them interesting....WELL I bet you can imagine what I picked! :D I wrote a 3 page essay about why I would like to meet Jo!

-ahem- I would like to share my very last sentence.

"Whether (sp?) she's roaming the halls at Eastland, or baking quiche at Enda's Edibles, Jo is the one character that I would love to meet...and that's a fact!"

WOW!!! You live in Illinois don't ya?! aren't they called IGAP now? we did the same thing! I did mine on Mrs. G!!!!!!!!!! That's a little scary....lol..
I talked about how she was on diff'rent strokes and then I said something about how she was the one that kept some of the girls at Eastland cause they faked their ideas, broke into a bar, stole the school van and poured beer all over a police officer(I almost filled the whole two pages front and back that they gave us).....ya know..........I wonder...lol.......I wonder how many other people wrote about fol........(maybe the government will see it's an awesome show and make some kind of law to air it!LOL!!:lol:)

Yep, I'm planning to do that now that I'm on VACATION!!! Woo-hoo!!! I don't have to take MCAS!!! Hehe. I kinda enjoy rubbing that in! (Sorry) :D Everyone on my tourney team was like "That is so not fair!" Hehe. IT'S VACATION! Thank goodness, I need a vacation. :)

i live in illinois too ! i had that same test and wrote about natalie! that is so cool!

i really dont mind mcas.....

here are the reasons~

-there is 2 weeks where you dont have any work basically even though the testing is only in the morning
-they always give more time then you need so you have like free time for the morning
-parties in hr
-better then regular classes
-u can use the excuse of mcas stressing you out...and so you dont do anything in your other classes
-did i mention like no work for 2 weeks
-the whole grade goes scrub and wears their pjs to school everyday for testing
-you have breakfast in your hr

LOL Well, gee, maybe I am missing something. ;) I'll never know. Hmm, let's see...well, we got to go outside today for class which was fun, and we haven't actually had Social Studies for the week. :D I'm still glad I don't have to take MCAS. I hate standardized testing.

we just finished our PSSAs. They r so simple! I was the first one done and I am not the smartest student in my class

I Dunno, but if you have to take the mcas there are serious advantages...but yah for a class project once we had to make a magazine and we could choose our topic and of course i choose the 80s and had a huge section on fol, so like during class i would come to sitcomsonline and be like "im doing research" lol of course i got an A too:)

LOL Yeah, I did a couple of things on FOL in computer class. One time, I came to this FOL site and the volume on my speaker was way up. I didn't know that it was, though, so all of a sudden, the FOL theme song starts to blare out of my computer. LOL Everyone turned and was just looking at me. I turned off the volume fast. I was just like heheh. Ok, yeah. :D IT'S VACATION! SOX WON!

we do ITBS for a whole week. We don't do anything but have 45 mintes in hr for food that the school buys and then we test and then we have fun for the rest of the day. It was good, but it was also last week, so now i have to get back used to regular classes again! OK that was waaaay OT...so the last sentence was awesome!
