In Jan. I finally cracked and did a year of prime for $73. Guess it was the right choice.

I just noticed that the new shipping minimum is for MOST items but not all. I think mostly DVDs is what it affects.

I don't buy as much from them as I used to so prime wouldn't really benefit me especially since I don't watch anything on my computer.

I basically looked at it as free shipping whenever I want it, and streaming music/ movies/shows as free bonuses if I decide to use it, which I actually have a few times.

If it were me, I'd just get Prime for the sake of free two-day shipping and Instant Video.
