As many know on the home releases of Barney Mends a Broken heart, the epilogue of the episode is omitted. For those who don't know the epilogue is Peggy giving Andy eye medicine for his black eye and Barney blurts out that Andy got it when he was with another woman, causing Andy to yell Barney!"

It's always baffled me when people demand that the epilogue of Barney Mends a broken heart be put back in the episode. For one thing, it's really not that funny to begin with. Secondly, it's also kind of inappropriate to end the episode with this kind of hear we go again. We saw Andy and Peggy have a falling out at the end of the episode, why do we need Barney to say something stupid to cause another argument when a few minutes ago the episode ended beautifully? I think CBS made the right move on removing the epilogue but that's just me. What do you all think?

I would have to see the scene with the epilogue and the scene without it to really judge.

The epilogue is not funny, but it shows Andy and Peggy "making up" after their little "fight", so I think that is a good reason for it to be shown.
