This show was on YouTube for years but when Vicki did her interviews promoting the DVDs for Mama's Family she would say she found the show on YouTube which made me think WB pulled them because of that. She brought awareness to the show being bootlegged on DVD and the episodes being on YouTube which probably make WB upset so they pulled every trace of it from YouTube and sites like iOffer.

I am not mad because I have the complete series on DVD plus my personal recordings with the music intact. I am just wondering why the episodes are no longer available anywhere else but Time Life.

The episodes have been removed because Time-Life paid a bundle to Warner and Joe Hamilton's estate for the DVD rights and if people can view it for free on YouTube or anywhere else, that could cut into the sales of the DVDs. It is irrelevant that Vicki mentioned that she used to watch them on YouTube. I'm very certain that Time-Life knows about the existence of YouTube just like everyone else, and Vicki wasn't telling them anything they weren't aware of. Also, now that MF is back on television again, I'm sure Warner wasn't happy about the YouTube episodes and they may have had a hand in their removal.
