^Nothing was done so I stepped in. Hope Janice doesn't mind. It's not so much that I mind, but I do like to keep it fair. I use the following criteria when making the birthday threads.

I'm in charge of making birthday threads on Chit Chat unless a member sends me a PM saying that they want to make one because they're friends with the person.

It's best that the birthday guy/girl are regular Chit Chat posters as well as active posters in general. I often do a quick check of a member's posting history. In this case, I went back about four years before finding a post at Chit Chat. Also, there were just a handful of posts over the last two years.

I think it's a good idea that members who don't post at Chit Chat, but regularly post at another forum, should get a birthday thread in that particular forum. BensonFan posts primarily at the Benson board, where I'm sure he's very popular there.

It's not a huge deal that you made the thread. I just wanted to clarify how I determine who gets birthday threads and who does not. I do try to keep it fair. :)
