I enjoy the parents and the two younger brothers more than Eddie on Fresh Off the Boat. The Eddie character is really the weak point of the series. I just don't buy his character at all. Nothing he says or does seems natural to me. Even his friends are much more amusing then him.

On the Drew Carey Show, pretty much everyone was funnier than Drew himself.

I Love Lucy- I found Ethel And Fred the funnier of the 4

Newhart-- I thought Kirk and Stephanie were funnier than Dick and Joanna.

Wilona on Good Times. Outside of her, the show generally makes me wretch.

Night Court. Everybody was more interesting than Harry.

Really it's pretty common for the supporting actors on a sitcom to be funnier than the star. The only real show where the star is the funniest character is John Ritter on Three's Company in my opinion.

CBS wanted to do a spin-off with Fred & Ethel but Vivian Vance said "NO WAY IN HELL WOULD I WORK WITH MR. FRAWLEY AGAIN!"

Yeah William Frawley and Vivian Vance totally hated each other. Besides Desi Arnaz most people didn't like him. But from what I've read he was really unlikable.
