Papa Pope is here to stay! "Scandal" has bumped Joe Morton up to series regular, EW has confirmed.

Morton first joined the ABC political fixer drama in season 2 as the mysterious leader of the shady black ops organization known as B613. It was later revealed that his character was Rowan Pope, also known as Eli Pope, the father of Olivia (Kerry Washington).

He won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Star with the role in 2014.

Though the show’s main antagonist has come in and out over the last few seasons — Morton starred on TNT’s short-lived "Proof" until it was canceled — he has returned to the fold by way of Jake (Scott Foley), who has landed a job as the head of the NSA while secretly working for Rowan.

Could Papa Pope be covertly starting a new B613?
