I bought a really good set of episodes from ioffer but I'd like to be able to record as many episodes as possible for my cousins (and myself) to own.

The DVDs amazon has are way overly priced.

I too wish Mr Rogers were still on PBS

Just looked, and it not longer airs here (Oregon Public Broadcasting), not sure when it stopped airing, but it was on at least to the late-2000s because I use to watch it with my daughter.

It's one of the (if not THE) best Children's (of all ages) tv shows of all time and it should continue to air. The values of this show never fade. My favorite part is "picture picture" when they show how things are made.

I don't even know how long ago I've seen Mr. Rodgers. Being close to the Chicago market you would think it would be on someplace but nope.

Wasn't Picture Picture that part of Mister Rogers Neighborhood where the mail carrier would bring Mr. Rogers a video tape that would feature titles like "How Milk Is Made" And the mail carrier and Mr. Rogers would watch it together and discuss it? That part was such an iconic part of Mister Rogers Neighborhood and I myself watched Mister Rogers Neighborhood as a toddler and my other favorite part of Mister Rogers Neighborhood was when the Neighborhood Trolley would visit the Land Of Make Believe. I think after Fred Rogers's death PBS no longer showed the episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood but I have seen Mister Rogers Neighborhood reruns in some PBS stations mainly in the Texas area. But at least PBS is keeping Mr. Rogers spirit alive by having the series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood which also is wonderful as well

I dont get Mister Rogers here either in Texas.

Just checked my listings and it appears that it's returning to PBS channel 8 in Georgia. It's only got 2 listings so far on Saturday 9/16 & 9/23 at 6am. Something is better than nothing.

Mister Rogers is still airing on NHPTV here in New Hampshire. It's on NHPTV Explore though.

And get this, Classical Stretch is still airing there too.

Actually, Daniel Tiger isn't really trash but I agree with you... I miss PBS Kids from 2000-2006 with Teletubbies(don't laugh; loved it when I was little), Reading Rainbow, Sesame Street pre-Season 39, Mister Rogers, The Noddy Shop(although I have only watched this on YouTube), classic Thomas the Tank Engine , etc.

Yeah. It's too bad all the eps of Sesame Street are hidden away in a vault somewhere... they really need to either release them on DVD or start releasing the early ones to Netflix/Shout! Factory
