Does anyone remember Country singer Kathy Mattea? She is known for the songs Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses and Where Have You Been and a remake of Nanci Griffith's Love At The Five And Dime. It's amazing that Kathy Mattea is still singing and she has such nice songs,

Do you remember Kathy Mattea's album Walking Away A Winner? That was the first Kathy Mattea album I bought and I was amazed by her talent. My mother has a Kathy Mattea album too and the album she has is her greatest hits cd A Collection Of Hits and it is also great as well,

I like Kathy Mattea and the female singers of the early to mid 90's they were all awesome!
Carlene Carter, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Loveless, Lorrie Morgan, Tanya Tucker, Suzy Bogguss, Pam Tillis, Wynonna, Reba McIntyre, Trisha Yearwood.
There were some great songs put out by them! I miss those days of country music. :(

Though It's NOT Christmas...her best songs were on her Christmas Album "Good News".
They're "Brightest and Best" and "Mary, did you know".

She's one of my faves! I bought her single of "Someone is Falling in Love", back in 1984. It didn't do very good on the charts, but I really liked it.
However, I think my very favorite song she sings is... "You're the Power". It's from her "Walk the Way the Wind Blows" album.
