I was thinking about this just a minute ago. Last t year, I lost 2 people I loved a lot. The first person was an 86 year old woman. She used to babysit me a long time ago. I was shocked to hear of her death. She died from COPD.

The second person was a 72 year old woman. She knew me ever since I was born. She didn't die, she just moved away. It was too "boring" here and that's why she moved. I was devastated because we shared some awesome memories together and to hear the news about her moving was just upsetting.

These 2 people were people that helped raise me. We formed a special bond between each other. Nowadays, that bond feels like it's gone forever. I miss the both of you.

Do you miss someone that you've lost?

My stepgrandpa just passed away almost a month ago. Before his passing, last time we'd lost a member of the family was in 2007.

To this day, I still miss my big cousin... She passed away suddenly about 16 1/2 years ago. I was freshly 14 when she died... She had just turned 30 earlier that summer. What's weird is, I just passed her in age a few months ago. She was 30y3m old when she died... I'm now 30y6m old. Doesn't feel right to be older than her, even though she'd be 46 now. Miss her tons to this day.

I STILL miss my grandparents (on my dad's side). They taught me a lot and gave me true affection toward people. I also miss the house he lived in (which is now owned by someone...I pray for them since they had a shoot-out real close by).

Here's one pic of them with my father and two of my aunts...

My grandfather is on the left side, my grandmother is on the right side, both are seated.

The aunt on my right...I also miss her.

I also miss a few people that were members of my church.

Another reason why I miss my grandparents in the pic I posted is...because they taught my dad many values in his life. They were both Christian people and respected others...which passed-down to me.

Yesterday, my dad and I had a conversation that I'm morally successful (in a manner of the Christian life...honor others). I know I fall short, but those values were things his parents gave my dad and I passed them on...it was like an epiphany.

So now when I think of the times I went to my grandpa's whether it was a sleep-over or dinner...it seemed that a lot of things were picked-up subconsciously through them.
