In season six of "Good Times," the Evans' bumbling building superintendent, Nathan "Buffalo Butt" Bookman, acquired a female apprentice named Theresa, better known as T.C. As a result of J.J. being smitten with her, T.C. appeared twice during twice during that aforementioned season, which ultimately turned out to be its last.

In T.C.'s first appearance, "J.J. and the Plumber's Helper," T.C. was portrayed by actress Bever-Leigh Banfield. In T.C.'s second appearance ("J.J. and T.C."), however, she was portrayed by actress Ronalda Douglas (Banfield was unavailable to reprise the role due to her being cast in the ABC miniseries "Roots: The Next Generations" and also on the short-lived series "Cliffhangers" [in the weekly segment "The Curse Of Dracula," starring Michael Nouri]); Douglas had guest-starred on "Good Times" the year before--season five--as the opinionated Charlene (her memorable line in that particular episode was the immortal "Well, I never!"), one of J.J.'s many girlfriends-of-the-week. (She also had recurring roles on "Isis" and "The New Odd Couple.")

My question is this: Of the two actresses who portrayed T.C. on the series during its final season--Banfield and Douglas--which actress is your favorite?

Personally, I prefer Bever-Leigh Banfield as T.C.; she was beautiful and sassy. She wasn't afraid of putting that pesky Bookman in his place. Ronalda Douglas looked too obnoxious (not to mention promiscuous) as "T.C. number two."

What do you guys think? Drop me a line...I'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy your evening, everyone! Happy President's Day!
