When I was listening to music I found a cd single of a song called Like Wow that's sung by Leslie Carter who is the sister of singer Aaron Carter and I wondered what happened to her because it seemed that the song Like Wow was the first single that was gonna be released on her debut album of the same name but it seemed like Leslie Carter's album never got released to stores. What became of Leslie Carter's career?,

So I looked her up on Wikipedia, very sad story. She had been signed to DreamWorks Records and recorded a full debut album which they were to release. But they cancelled the release of it because of several reported "problems" during the making of her first music video, but they didn't give any details as to what those problems were and later apparently the label dropped her. She then tried to put a band together with her as the lead singer but that didn't go anywhere either. And then suddenly and unexpectedly (and tragically) at the beginning of 2012 she died. The article says they believed it to be an accidental overdose (she was taking several prescription drugs) and she was only 25 years old. I really don't know how old the Wikipedia article is but they said the investigation into her death was still ongoing, so it's got to be an older article since that's been 4 years ago now. But man that's a very sad and tragic ending to such a young life. Really horrible.
