Does anyone else get this network? FIOS recently cancelled RFD-TV and replaced it with Blue Highways, a channel they actually carried and then cancelled several years back. The programming for a good portion of the day - 10:00 am - 3:00 am is a simulcast of Laff TV complete with the logo! FIOS started airing Laff a few months ago and I've been underwhelmed with their programming. But I must admit I've never seen a weird set-up like this before. It would have been nice to get another station like maybe Grit-TV or Escape TV. This is just nuts! :wallbang

I have Dish Network and I get Blue Highways TV. When we first got it, it was just bluegrass specials and stuff like that. Then they started airing shows from Laff about a month or two ago. I love watching Night Court and Grace Under Fire. Also, since December Dish added Get TV. It's not that great, but still another channel. I wish I could get ME-TV or Antenna TV. I also have RFD-TV but it also turns into Family Net sometimes!

Dish really needs to improve greatly, especially since their rates just went up, yet again!

I must admit that FIOS in my area (Philadelphia metro) has some great networks --- we are lucky to get Cozi, This TV, Retro TV, Decades, Antenna TV, Get TV, Centric, Me TV, Heroes & Icons, and Family Net as well as TV Land, Nick at Nite and Laff. I think it is strange though to have the same programming on two channels (for part of the day) when we have both channels. I do enjoy Empty Nest on Laff. FIOS is not inexpensive, but although we live in "Comcast Land", I found their customer service to be sub-par and we switched when FIOS became available in our area. I know Verizon is not perfect either, but we've had no issues.

I don't receive Blue Highways. Sounds like a network with shows that are either controversial, have vulgar language or a lot of sex talk. What is the station???

They show some sitcoms from Laff. They even have the Laff symbol at the bottom right of the screen. They show The Drew Carey Show, Ellen, Empty Nest, Grace Under Fire, Night Court, Spin City and The Bernie Mac Show. They also play some movies (edited). When they play shows from Blue Highways, they mostly have shows about bluegrass music and Branson. It's not a vulgar channel at all. :)
