There were rumors that Munn was quite the thorn in Aaron Sorkin's side on the set of The Newsroom, in which she starred as the double PhD-holder Sloan. The producer dismissed such gossip and Munn followed his lead with similar tweets, essentially labeling the rumors a non-issue. But was it a case of the pair protesting too much? Was the fact that Sorkin issued a statement saying how great Munn is an act of overkill? Why not just ignore the gossip if it wasn't true? There were just too many stories about her being a pain to dismiss the suggestions and to believe Sorkin's statement.

That whole "pain in the butt" thing we mentioned previously? Well, Munn reportedly didn't like how the character of Sloan was being written at one point, thinking the direction was becoming "too girly." The actress told Huffington Post that one of the directors called her "aggressive," given her reaction to the way the character was developing. She was not apologetic about it, either. While we can respect Munn for taking her craft seriously and for wanting to maintain the integrity of the role, she didn't need to be quite so public about discussing an on-set and behind-the-scenes situation.
