Somewhere in the back of my head, I heard something about Fonzie went to Filmore, dropped out and tried to go to Jefferson? Is that how Fonzie met Laverne? Did Laverne make a statement about Jefferson High? I do recall someone in Happy Days mention something about Filmore High before Laverne & Shirley. I'm trying to figure out the mystery between the two shows.

L&S went to Fillmore.

The Happy Days gang went to Jefferson.

Fonzie dropped out of Jefferson, went back once, and dropped out again.

Laverne and Fonzie just know eachother... dunno how.

From the dialog in the L&S episode Shotgun Wedding it
seems that Fonzie used to live in the same neighborhood as
the L&S gang.
Fillmore and Jefferson were cross town rivals and if you notice
in the ep.where Richie and Potsie take Laverne and Shirley to
the dance contest there are posters in the gym that say among
other things:JEFFERSON BEAT FILLMORE.

Of course Fonzie knows L&S--he knows all the ladies of Milwaukee. Besides, like he said *These 2 dont know the meaning of NO.* lol
