This channel has two sitcoms I really enjoy -- 227 & Family Matters. But wow, does it have a lot of commercials! I timed 6-8 minutes of ads for roughly 4 minutes of the show. :wallbang I'm spoiled because Encore shows 227 and Amen with no ads. But this seems ridiculously excessive. I thought TV Land was bad. Really a shame for a network with some excellent sitcoms.

I used to get this channel but I recently downgraded my DIRECTV package so I no longer get it. The only show I used to watch on it was "Family Matters". Since it seems "FM" is moving forward with more DVDs, I don't miss this channel at all.

I did wonder if Encore still carried those shows. We have FIOS; not sure if they're carried On Demand. I'll have to check.

Centric is the sister channel of BET and from what I've heard about it is that it not only shows 227 and Family Matters but lots of classic sitcoms too and reruns of Steve Harvey's Family Feud of course. I don't get Centric on my cable too but it's really awesome,

Becca, I was going to post about this. FM has or had run time of 50 mins. So if an episode is 21 min. that's 29 mins. of commercials!!!! :crazy: :mad:
