I found out a story from my mother that the reason why GSN is no longer gonna show the 5th season of The Chase this year is because GSN has apparently lost the rights for the American version of The Chase and I would like to know if the story is true? Another story Mom told me is that Mark Labbett is now on The Chase in Australia and is now a big star in Australia. I also read that FOX might also get the reruns of The Chase as well and will try to revive it someday. Have you heard anything about this story?,

Another thing my mother told me about The Chase is not only did GSN lose the rights to The Chase and canceled it GSN also tried to give Mark Labbett more money and a bigger contract but from what Mom also told me Mark Labbett said no to the money contract and headed to Australia to do The Chase there. When I heard about The Chase being cancelled I got so sad and i'm very unhappy at this news. Why GSN cancelled The Chase is a mystery I'll never know because it was a monster hit for GSN and they should bring it back to TV. But I have a feeling Mark Labbett will return to do another game show for GSN soon,

I think the main reason why The Chase got cancelled on GSN is that GSN did the same thing that ABC did to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire by changing the days for The Chase because when it first debuted GSN put The Chase on Tuesdays but when Season 4 debuted GSN decided to air The Chase on Wednesdays then Thursdays then finally Fridays and I could never understand why GSN did this to The Chase. Then starting in Season 4 The Chase started to do theme episodes debuting Celebrity Editions and that I think really caused The Chase's ratings to go downhill. Another thing that GSN did that I think caused The Chase to get good weekend ratings is that they also aired The Chase on Saturdays and that made me happy to see it again. I sure do wish GSN would bring The Chase back to America because it was sad for me to see The Chase be cancelled in America and I think GSN should bring it back with Mark Labbett because it's a great game show
